Commercial vehicles & automotive (ISO 26262)
In the field of conventional road-based commercial vehicles, we operate reliable within the framework of ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434. We have already successfully brought the following safety-critical systems to series production maturity:
Control Unit for an articulation system (HÜBNER Group)
ECUtronic developed a control unit and corresponding software for an articulation system used in articulated buses for the HÜBNER Group. Our contribution covered the entire development process: from concept development and planning through evaluation of vehicle testing, as well as production support and documentation.
The control unit and its software ensure the stability and maneuverability of articulated buses. It implements safety requirements up to ASIL C as well as key cybersecurity requirements defined in the vehicle manufacturers’ cybersecurity concepts.

Concept development and consulting for an electric rampe system for city buses (HÜBNER Group)
The HÜBNER Group develops, produces, and distributes manual and electric entry systems for buses. In a joint development project, we carried out the concept and system development phase, including safety analyses in accordance with ISO 26262. A further focus was the risk analysis of the system with regard to cybersecurity.
